This machine was left in the home I just purchased. No idea what the model is but would like to sell it. I used it for a few months before I replaced it since the dryer stopped working (Sears Lady Kenmore, also classic, separate post).

Any idea what year it is from or how much it is worth?

Might just put it on Craigslist.

Thanks!

This is from like 1975 to 1980.  Model A107.   Would be good to post a picture with the lid open and looking into the tub.  Maybe $75 to $125, depnding upon its overall condition.  Was their bottom of the line or next to bottom of the line.

That is a model A308. It was introduced sometime in 1977 and was discontinued in July of 1980.
It is a single speed machine and was the lowest featured machine that featured the "big (19 gallon) tub." There were also smaller machines in the line-up that had a 16 gallon tub.

That is a great washing machines and someone will likely want to take it off of your hands.

It is collectable to the right person but not exactly rare. The fact that it works is good but it may well need a fair amount of refurbishment if someone wanted to use it regularly for another 10 or 20 years!
The control dial shows the typical "Spray and Wash" effect that has removed some of the lettering.

In terms of price I would not expect anyone to offer you more than $50 - $100 for it.

You may want to sell that black fabric softener dispenser cu

Turquoise cups are still readily available, but the black ones disappeared some time ago, so all the folks with black lint filter agitators that use them are kind of stuck. It took me weeks to find mine and I just got plain lucky!

I would love that washer Mary. But I'm in Cali. So beautiful. Always wanted one like that. And from the 50's. wow. Wished I lived in the 50's. I would have had a lot of neat stuff!

If you'd read the comments above, Mark points out that this set is much newer and was actually made in 1979. Still a nice set though.

Still love the 70s. I was in awe of the washer. Didn't read any comments. Sorry about that

Going on Craigslist

I've officially posted it for sale on Craigslist. Any other ideas on where I can sell it or maybe there's a shop in El Paso that collects them? Thanks for all the help! Hopefully I can find it a good home.
