That KDSS-21 is very rare as few of these made it very long, most died at least 10 years ago from control problems when everything in the controls went NLA. Would still be a cool machine for an adventurous person that wants to try to keep one running.
The KDS-17s are always cool machines but when you consider that they use almost 20 gallons of 140 degree water per cycle that is just too much for my budget, LOL. |

That 17 is a beauty.
Rare to see one with a Black Panel for that era. For me, I'd take the 17. Just a sucker for that Pump that runs with out shutting off or reversing until the Final Rinse is done. Gotta get the 18 out of Mothballs and water test. The 20 cleans great but all that stopping and timer advancing... when that machine stops to advance or fill it always snaps my head thinking something is wrong. True Hobart, but not a 18. I think that is why I'm using the Regency more frequently. But on a night of heavy cooking, the 20 with BobLoad racking is wonderful. Get the 17 Nick. I'm routing for ya. |
