KDSS-21.  I may have to go for this one too.  However if anyone else wants it I won't begrudge.

Wow -- the most desirable of the three is the cheapest one too.  That is a steal if I ever saw one!  Good job nabbing it.

wish that it would snow like that here in Memphis TN. I have been looking for one of these to replace that piece of crap Kenmore that the Sears Repairman broke.

That KDSS-21 is very rare as few of these made it very long, most died at least 10 years ago from control problems when everything in the controls went NLA. Would still be a cool machine for an adventurous person that wants to try to keep one running.

The KDS-17s are always cool machines but when you consider that they use almost 20 gallons of 140 degree water per cycle that is just too much for my budget, LOL.

I'm curious why the KDS-17 is being replaced, a possible kitchen remodel & upgrade?

Tim, from the looks of the cabinetry, I'd say yes.

That 17 is a beauty.

Rare to see one with a Black Panel for that era.

For me, I'd take the 17. Just a sucker for that Pump that runs with out shutting off or reversing until the Final Rinse is done.

Gotta get the 18 out of Mothballs and water test. The 20 cleans great but all that stopping and timer advancing... when that machine stops to advance or fill it always snaps my head thinking something is wrong. True Hobart, but not a 18.

I think that is why I'm using the Regency more frequently. But on a night of heavy cooking, the 20 with BobLoad racking is wonderful.

Get the 17 Nick. I'm routing for ya.

KDS-17

Minty indeed. I swear that when I opened the link to view that dishwasher, the scent of a York Peppermint Patty eminated from the screen. I hope she performs as well as she looks.

What years were the KDSS-21s and KUDI-23s available? I believe that the KUDI style console, or something similar was around during the later 80s/early 90s, but I don't really have any idea as far as the KDSS models. I am guessing early to mid 90s based on the console being white.
