Gee, that thing can't carry a tune in an extractor!

That was my lunch box too!  Wish I still had it, but I don't need to pay upwards of $100 for one just like it.

I love the GE range and the telephone dial GE dryer. Was it reunited with the matching washer/sink that John has?

Yes this is a new toy that will be installed at the warehouse, my brother Jeff tacked it out at 1550 RPMs it looks and sounds like it is going faster , most of the people that have seen it run usually are also running away, LOL. All the noise is mainly caused by the air rushing through the holes in the spinner basket, if you have clothing in it all the whistling is gone. The machine will get a complete rebuilding and repainting, the safety interlocks have all been bypassed and the brake is not functioning at all so it takes several minutes to coast to a stop. It takes two strong men to lift the spinner basket out [ three is better ] I am sure it has more than 100 pounds of cast iron at the bottom of the basket.

I was given this extractor by a commercial Speed Queen laundry distributor here in Maryland, he had two even larger ones that he offered me but the machines were more than 42" wide and the doors in the warehouse are all 36" so I took this smaller model. All three extractors he had have 3 phase motors so I had to modify my 208 volt test line and power it with a three pole 30 amp breaker.

If you think it was loud in the video so should hear it in person, I think that everyone that has heard it as run away at least to the next room, LOL.

Or just make another video with 2 or 3 pieces of something in it so we can here the motor spinning up and not the harmonics.
