While I realize this is a bit of a stretch, but when we were in Best Buy today from a distance I looked over and saw this Samsung top loading washer and my first thought was it kinda just a little bit strikes me as pleasantly vintage looking.  Of course its not when you get close up but for a modern washer I really like the styling.  And a center dial no less lol!

and of course the automaticwasher.org requirement whenever you post washer pictures to be sure to include a "money shot", so here it is.  I like the blue tub ring, light cap and dispenser bezel.  Still I'd rather have a nice rubber 1958 three ring agitator, but I did notice this machine over any other washer in the store.

That is a cool looking washer...

It is the middle line seems to give you the colors in the basket, this one has no heater I beleave.

Hope you like this one better then the one made from F&P ..Kenmore Elite model that you said was to flimsy lol.

I believe this Samsung is currently the top-rated top-loading washer at Consumer Reports.

Yes, a "Robert sighting" in the Deluxe forum is rare, indeed.

This is a little different then your harmony in the wash action..
I wonder what do you think on the wash system ..
Seems like people like this one better then LG the suspesion is stronger unlike
the LG I guesss is STILL having issues on exploding or no protective out of balence switch  !
Causing excissive damage to the washer.

I think Greg posted this video on the unit this is the Top of the line ..
Minus the color all stainless tub.
This guy is a talker .
Wash start around 5:00 min in.
Washing ...at 6:20 in the video.
Looks almost like your spray in your Super Unimatic .

Lol you guys :-), big lol.

I just saw that video, I had no idea it uses a recirculation system, cool!  That is a big positive in my mind.  Does it recirculate for the entire wash cycle or just for a few minutes?  Best high efficiency way to wash in my mind mainly because it adds a bit of so desperately needed drama.

I think the jet is only used on the models with the stainless wash plate. The other ones use something like the LG WaveForce action. Samsung calls it PowerJet:

But I think the WaveForce-action looks better:

I personally do like the recirculation action of the Samsung, it reminds me a little bit of the Whirlpool "Bed of nails" anti-lint filter recirculation.

This is exactly what those kinds of machines need to ensure good washing action.
