For anyone out there who's looking for an old 90's Indesit EcoSense, here's a 1263W I just found on Ebay, it says it's in Swadlincote, wherever that is. If I had the room, I'd snap it up myself as I'd love one of these!

Does anyone know if these Indesits had Unbalanced Load Detection Systems? Some say they do but are not very keen sensors, others say they don't.

Happy bidding guys!

The problem with Indesits is that they made so many different versions, sometimes even with the same model number. The ones to get are those with a cross shaped drum bearing housing. The ones with a round bearing hub bolted to the centre of the backplate are best avoided as that hub casting rots away and eventually breaks.

Also, I noticed on youtube, the suspensions of these machines sometimes are very squeaky, there is a series of videos of a 1296W, the suspension on that was so squeaky I had to actually watch the video without headphones, but overall I like them for their style and the fact that they spin so fast straight away. And the obvious - no Unbalanced Load Detection System.
