I am sure that English Electric was on ebay, and sold, before Christmas - early december I would say.
As for the Servis drier? Who actually made these? It looks similar to earlier Bendix and Hoover versions. That HM3174 looks in good nick, even though the price is on the steep side, it is maybe not THAT far out of the way. Al |

Would love an EE dryer like that and the matching Reversomatic or Reversomatic Solid State! |

I was going to post that the HM that Gary had posted had been re-listed (the auction has ended) but no, this is a different one!
Note that the panel next to the spin release says only "Hoover" and not "Hoovermatic de Luxe". Could this be a later HMDL or is it a BOL version of the HM. If it is it will be VERY rare indeed, de Luxe models are relativly common where the BOL are not. You northern collectors need to get cracking here, these Hoovermatics are in good order and at bargain prices Al CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK on eBay |

Some a tad too pricy when buying BUt cheap when selling...LOl
Al, lets have a meet up with Lance and Austin, that can be your excuse to collect!! The Fannys are going for the Servis MK2, he has spare parts from a knackered one, so see what happens, mind if you looked in their laundry room one might be in for a shock, can you say the word "Automatics" here!! The Hoovermatic above is the 5024 which is the silver lidded model, this is still a HMDL but the logo on the front changed to just Hoover and the Hoovermatic De-Luxe is printed on the washtub side of the bezel, the previous model the T5004 with white lids had the Hoovermatic De-Luxe printed on the front switch cover...hard to keep up with all the changes, thats where matchbox paul comes in!! |

If it was produced in 1991 this must have been one of the very last of these machines - largely unchanged apart from styling since 1953

Nice Hotpoint TL with original see through dial but sadly also has the obligatory cracks in the console. Still I would if it were nearer
