Well the ears are 12 from maytag. But the kit has to be ordered and i am only free to go out of town to fix it today for her. What size bolt is that in the agitator? If i can find a kit are they universal? |

Allen, dog ears are alternate term for the agitator dogs. Same thing you've replaced on your machine, IIRC. MindyJ, package of 4 dogs can be had online for $3.00, plus shipping ($6.95 is typically the cheapest sources I find) of course so it's comparable in the end to your $12 quoted storefront. If you plan to get the repair kit, the full model number of the machine is required to get the correct package ... there are three cam sizes depending on variables on the agitator design. |
