When I get a chance I will get some shots and upload them. I took a lot of the old washer just to remember her by. The delivery men said my Kenmore was heavier than the SQ! Go figure. |

The SQ next to the Kenmore dryer. I really like that the door on the SQ is hung on the right, the Kenmore had it hung on the left. |

Will the Speed Queen do warm water rinses? That's a feature that would be very hard for me to give up. |

Yes it does. If you choose WARM/WARM the final rinse will be warm in every cycle. All other rinses are cold. |

Had experience with the OPL version in Belgium at our laundry facility. I am impressed. These washers are build like a tank. No nonsens, just wash rinse spin and bam on to the next load. If I moved to North America, Speedqueen would be my first choice! |

Only two dials - no push buttons. Am I right? |

...to say congrats to a true HE machine. It's time to get rid of those merry-go-round-like top-loaders I saw recently in the other thread. |

The spin spray is from a nozzle over the door. The spray is a misted fan spray that is directed into the drum onto the spinning load of clothes.
On the delicate cycle, the tumbling speed is reduced. The Perm Press cycle uses a shortened wash time and a shortened final spin. Sure wish they had kept the boosted hot model around. Malcolm |
