Nice but I feel it's a bit more money than it should be considering the condition of the cabinets and the cracked glass. Still...

These were listed before and I actually tried to contact the seller. It was just plain weird. When I called I got his voice mail, and the message I heard went something like this. "If you're hearing this message, either I don't know who you are, or I just don't want to talk to you. Leave a message." Well I left a message explaining that I wanted to discuss the vintage Maytags he was selling, and I never heard back from him. A couple of weeks later after his ad had expired I sent him a text asking if they were still available. He responded with a text that simply said "yes". So I sent another text asking when would be a good time to call so I could ask a few questions about the machines, and he never bothered to answer. The bottom line is this guy is a complete Richard with a capitol D (think of the nickname for Richard) so you may not want to waste your time with him.

Craigslist

I once spent a solid month of back and forth with a guy once on Craigslist before I got to see a set I saw listed online. However in end it was a great buy so the bullshit can be worth it.

That's a good point, Dave

I just though people should know that they're likely to have a very different buying experience with this guy than you'd normally expect. But if someone manages to wade through his BS and come out with this rare set, I guess it will have been worth it.

Chuckled the at the story and laughed hard at Richard Cranium. Really fun way to start the day with comic talent. Thanks.

It was especially poignant for me because our elementary school gym teacher was Mister Head. Luckily for him, his first name was not Dick.
