Just picked up a 1987 (I believe) GE gas dryer for $75.00. Looks as nice in person as in the pictures. He went down on the price because I had to travel about 100 miles round trip to get it. He wouldn't go any lower.

The owners wife explained that it was her mothers and that she didn't use it much. Well, the mother died and she inherited the dryer. She decided to sell it because it didn't match her new Maytag washer. Funny thing is both her washer and this dryer were in the basement. She would be the only one that would know that they don't match. I hope her new Maytag gas dryer lasts as long as this GE dryer.

Even if it didn't match the new Maytag,  keeping the GE would have ensured that the owner had at least one handsome laundry appliance.
