There is a neat laundrette here in the uk not far from me in Durham , its a laundrette / cafe with lots of old washing memorabilia that often holds musical performances and poetry readings etc. it's located in an old cinema hence it's name. Would be a great location for a washing meet up if there was only room to fill it with a few old washers!
Try the link it needs adobe though so won't work on I pads etc Richard CLICK HERE TO GO TO ricky5050's LINK |

This one has been a combined cafe and laundrette in Salamanca Place in Hobart, Tasmania for years.
Great coffee shop, fab food and certainly combines a couple of my great loves - coffee and laundry! CLICK HERE TO GO TO ronhic's LINK |
