Before anyone asks, I have browsed the forums quite a bit and have learned a great deal. So thank you! Here's my situation:

- I'm remodeling my kitchen area and want to install a washer and dryer. A stacked setup would be the most efficient use of space in my situation.
- dryer source should be gas
- no 220 outlets available
- can't be more than 25" deep (width and height are more flexible)
- right now it's just me and my Other Half so I don't need to do a family's worth of laundry. Therefore, a smaller capacity is great (and probably necessary due to space constraints).
- I'm pretty particular about my laundry and like a decent amount of wash cycles, temperature settings and spin speeds. A lot of washers will completely destroy my leotards and ballet tights if I'm not careful with the settings.
- would love to spend less than $1800 for the pair.

Within my price range, I've found the Maytag MHWC7500YW, Bosch Axxis WAS20160UC, Whirlpool WFC7500VW, Ariston Elegance ARWL129 and the Blomberg WM87120 fit my criteria. The first three will probably have matching gas dryers and will be much easier to find here in Southern California, but there's not a lot of review info I can find on them.

If anyone has any experience with these, or there's something else that would work that I haven't mentioned, I'd be grateful for the advice. Thanks!

Would be your best bet. Their stackables are the same true commercial machines you would see in multi-housing units and laundromats. In fact SQ does not build household machines. They are commercial machines made to look pretty. Due to them being commercial washers/dryers at heart the build quality is superior and cycle times faster than any domestic machine.

I'd love to get a SQ but it doesn't meet my space limitations :-(
