Where can I get a motor for a maytag wringer washer? I barrowed one from a friend. We had an issue come up with our electric and the motor burnt up. Thanks for the help.

I can post pics of it this afternoon if it would help. I *think* it's an e2lp.

I

bought a used motor from Phil. He owns a Maytag repair shop in Ovid, NY. He also sells on ebay. His phone is 607 869 2263 for the shop and cell is 315 346 5518. His business is Phil's Maytag Sales/Service/Parts and his email is ovidny@gmail.com. He is very reasonable on his prices and very, very knowledgeable. I and a lot of other's in the club have gotten parts from Phil. Good Luck with your project. Please keep us informed of your progress.

I have

wondered if that one on ebay may have been a good thing to grab up even tho I don't need one. When you consider the price you pay plus shipping a used one is up in price. Just a thought. Phil's motor works fine for me. Lots cheaper maybe.

JANUARY 1961

From the letters in your serial number it appears your machine was manufactured in January 1961.
