I was just wondering what brand of motor Whirlpool used for their DD machines? I was just curious with the talk about them switching from GE to EMerson in the BD days.

emerson-not sure what the motor brand is in the latest new generation"BD" WP washers.

Agreed - I think all the DD motors were one form or another of Emerson.

Aren't the new BD "Transmissionless" washers motors driven electronically?They run from a circuit board.
