Ah, I was puzzled by that when I first found this one! It's a rinse temperature control - you can set to warm or cold for all rinses. IIRC, models without this dial would always rinse in warm water.
Barcoboy, it was the Estrie-Aide store on Wellington South - it's worth the trip! Right, I now need to find the linament for my aching back... LOL |

You guys did a lot of fun washer activities! The washers all look great, Paul. I've not seen a vented Lady Kenmore washer before, must be a Canadian thing? LOL
Those are some rare parts you found, Phil. Have you tried any of the dispensers yet? The versions I've tried always shook the softener out in the wash. |

Right top control on the Maytag. That is the warm water cold water for the A700 machine. This was my moms first automatic washer. |

Greg,
I haven't tried to use the dispensers yet. I have both styles that go on the 1-18 and I rarely add softener but I do use them for the pre-wash/wash with liquid detergent. I never measured if they loose any detergent during the pre-wash but there's definitely remaining detergent for the wash! The latest Frisbee-style used on the Rollermatics look similar to the first style used on 1-18 washers but it's not the same (see the two pictures).
I just tried to fit the fez-style dispenser on the agitator of my WDR-64 and the Agitub dispenser on my W3-224. |
