Washer

The washer looks like it might be a little beat up for the price they are asking.

Malcolm,

I would think the seller should be prepared to negotiate on the price.  Based on my past experiences with a gas dryer, they're not that easy to sell here, which is contrary to what I've always thought to be the case.  The washer looks to be well-featured with infinite water level, 5 wash/rinse temp combinations and 2 speeds.  Same for the dryer, although it's hard to really tell much from the bad photography.

Pulltostart . . .

Funny that a gas dryer is hard to sell some places, and an electric in others. When I last moved had a good, gently used electric dryer but this house is set up for a gas dryer - no 220v outlet in the garage. So I bought a gas dryer and called a couple of local used appliance stores to just make the electric go away.  I'm located a half mile from the Ventura Freeway and all someone had to do was send a truck and I would have had it in the driveway ready for them. None of them would pick it up for free, all said it wasn't worth putting an electric in the store as it took too long to sell. It eventually went to the crusher, sad but I didn't want to deal with flakes on Craigslist.
