Is this a Kenpool or a Whirlmore?

Obviously a WP console has been put on a KM washer.

Interesting, I wonder what the story behind that set up is.

Though, to me, that cabinet looks brand new, so I'm thinking the cabinet was replaced.

It looks like a Whirlpool control panel but a Kenmore cabinet.

I've never seen a Whirlpool with a lid that lifts open to the left, that's a Kenmore trait.

I did that a few times when I was picking up and reselling washers & dryers a few years ago. Most people never knew the difference and could care less. Working, big tub and clean for $100-150 was ALL that mattered! :-)

me from what i see from the pic was the the machine must of needed a cabinet transplant and the only washer cabinet that was fitting this model must of been a kenmore washer cabinet of maybe a similar model

The console looks like it originally came from a washer with an almond cabinet.
