the same machine as I do or close to it. My Duet is 8 years old next month. It has always averaged about 15 loads per months (give or take) and I have no noises or stains at all. There are only 2 people here so I can imagine a larger family it would get more use.
I think there is a hidden cleaning cycle by pressing a sequence of buttons that you can try but not sure what the sequence is. That and leaving the door cracked and detergent drawer pulled out so everything can breathe when it's not in use. Hopefully you've been doing this since U have had it. Dadoes refurbished a machine very close to this you can look for that thread. |

You could check the drain pump to see if anything is in the drain screen. You need to remove the bottom front panel to do that. Then you will see the white drain knob right in the center. Be aware that some water will drain out when you turn the knob, so have towels, a shallow pan, or shop vac ready.
When my HE3t was about 8 years old, I noticed an occassional, light squeaking sound when washing very large, heavy loads. Even though there was no noticable slippage, I replaced the belt and the noise went away. |
