Had the pleasure of using a Thorn EMI Bendix version of this machine quite some years back. It was a 800rpm spin machine built like a tank & it could cope very very well with extreme un-balanced loads. It was programmed very much the same way as this machine but with a 400rpm then a 800rpm final spin.
