Thanks Paul for adding these, I remember selling these in the early 80`s in Trident, they where their own brand and a great price for a simple washer... induction motor, and bearings where easy to change etc..very quiet in operation!!

Hi Mike,

The farm up the road from my Mums had a Caravelle machine, I never actually saw it in operation and it only lasted just over a year as it was chronically overloaded. I liked the simplicity of these machines and at the time the doors seemed huge!

Had the pleasure of using a Thorn EMI Bendix version of this machine quite some years back. It was a 800rpm spin machine built like a tank & it could cope very very well with extreme un-balanced loads. It was programmed very much the same way as this machine but with a 400rpm then a 800rpm final spin.
