Speed Queen has a 3 year parts & labor for home machines. Read your warranty bond. If you don't have one call Alliance they can get you a pdf. copy. |

actually, if it is a major component, it will be covered, gearcase, motor, etc. but I will have to pay for the labor! The machine is out of it's regular warranty. Mike |

I know that when I had an issue with my Speed Queen dryer. The technician that came to service it didn't know much about it. After replacing the timer and the motor, I stepped in to assist and we found the broken wire in the wiring harness.
I have no idea what the training requirements are for the technical staff in the field. I suppose that it is not very difficult to become an authorized service depot. Malcolm |
