Hi Guys!
I made some more videos of me Twin-Twin Tubbin' yesterday for St. Paddy's Day.
The phone's camera does NOT like to be paused for more than a minute so the videos are broken up cause, well, I had to pause a couple of times.
Plus that small memory card on my phone!
But that'll probably be it for videos for a while or until the Hoover is fixed or I get another machine.
Enjoy and have a great day all!!!!!

That "somewhat called out for not saying hi" comment wouldn't have been directed to me, would it? Hahahaha.

Good videos! I haven't used my Maytag a50 for a long time, may have to roll it up this weekend.

HI!

Scott,

Looks a bit like a ''washer contest'' between the Simp and the Mayt. Who will be crowned? Who will become the new duchess of twin-tubbin'?? Suspense, isn't it?

No kidding, congrats for your instructive videos! It certainly would have made a good publicity campaign for these nice little washing machines. Would have been appealing to the ''modern women'' of the early 1970's... as much as it is appealing to the men and women of today.

I stayed up half the night to watch your marathon, one which has to be an Aworg record. I was pretty much glued to the screen, and trust me, I didn't think I'd make it through all ten vids, over an hour of watching, but I did. And I loved it:

~what a steady hand you have, holding the phone all that time, yet the footage is even enough to have been tri-podded

~agreed that the SQ/S filter is more a hindrance than a help, and your remark about lint in the A50 (cat hair in the drain + a little glop on the impeller) made me laugh because I thought it all minuscule. A moot point anyway, since your recirculating Hoover will soon put an end to all of that

~the turnover in the SQ/S was day and night from the duvet to the sheet--how that sheet flew !

~had forgotten how cool the A 50 sounds when it hits the million rpm mark

~ the whole operation and all the parts were beautiful in many ways, especially the peek inside the SQ/Q spin-rinsing.

I would like to know if the A 50 will take a full set of sheets; there was so much room in the spinner for another sheet, and the impellers seemed to handle one sheet with such ease, like a breeze.

And I'd really appreciate a fully explicated rationale behind your homeopathic* like doses of detergent. Scott, I've never seen anything like it and the results speak for themselves.

*You remember in homeopathic medicine, only a fractioned dose of a substance is used.

Thank you, Scott, for an obvious Herculean effort; it was amazing.

Forgot to include this question, Scott:

Adding more water to a bulky load is a crap shot; sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Have you ever added additional water to a duvet-like load in the simplicity, achieving greater turnover?

Heard you were elected Grand Marshall of the St. Paddy's Day Parade next year. Top O' the evenin' to ya!
