I noticed this wringer for sale locally in my area and was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on price and condition. Current price is $125 or best offer.

Does the metal underneath the bottom roller, in the middle, look like it is pushed up at all? You will see better in the 2nd picture.

See the "dent" I am referring to under the bottom roller, in the middle? Or am I imagining things?

Noticed some numbers upside down even though the label is right side up.

Yes it is worth the asking price because it has the lint filter!
Without the lint filter knock off $50 to $75.00.

This machine appears to be the Doeskin color. That is a rare Kenmore/Whirlpool color, so that may ad too the machine's value and collectability as well?

BRIAN ~ WOW

Can you see mine? It's magic Ninja Borgan Forcean washer quantum physics stuff to make wringing and safety more advanced. First thought it was a reverse dent too; having an identical match on the back panel is the giveaway.

Larry's right you NEVER see these with the lint filter still available and intact. And the skirt is so clean and blemish free. Where was this kept? Do you have a story? Despite the white dusting in the tub, this is a a very low mileage machine. The chrome will shine with only a wipe. I'm so happy, first Kelly, now you in Visimatic Heaven.

Go for it Brian; it's a steal. Offer a hundred if you're a little short. And please let me know if you end up absolutely loving this washing machine.

Doeskin and all! It does look like metal shroud is bent up, perhaps something wound around the wringer and got wedged under there. Looks relatively easy to bend back to original shape though.

String of bad luck...

Apparently when I e-mailed the seller earlier tonight, someone JUST put down a deposit and is allegedly picking it up next week!

If the sale does not go through for some reason, the seller agreed to contact me.

That's 2 awesome machines scooped out from under me. Grrr.

Cool machine, I believe this washer came only in the Doeskin color.

The Lint Filter!

moparwash's profile picture
The reason they are missing is because nobody used them and they got misplaced...I remember growing up mom never used the lint filter and there are probably a few still around the house...anyone need one if I can find one?

Really, Jerry!

I'd love a new one. The gasket on mine spilt the day I took the pix, when I removed the fill hose for some unnecessary reason. I've tried a few different washers, but they won't hold. I use the filter as a fill port. The screen has also separated from the molding in one spot.

That would be an act of consummate grace if you had one. Will be happy to pay for it.

I got the filter from Walt of Gasport as well as a new control panel. The panel is doeskin like its donor, a 67 as John says.
