Samsung

I've been waiting for these since Samsung told me last year they would be introducing their own model in Q1 2006. Except for the detergent/additives dispenser, it looks EXACTLY like an LG. I wonder how they plan to differentiate themselves?

Maybe we'll be lucky and it'll have a STRONG internal heater and a no-tilt drum. :-)

Are these the Maytag Neptune twins?

I know Samsung makes the new Maytag Neptune FL's (MAH8700/9700). Are these Samsung's own-labeled version? I heard that they were going to enter the US market with that product. My guess is that after the Maytag/Whirlpool merger, it would make sense for Whirlpool to discontinue that line, since it competes with their own Duets. That clears the way for Samsung.

Yes these are the Neptune "twins". Remember, Samsun makes the new Neppies?

So it's not going to be a rebaged Maytag after all.

Model WF326LAW and the capacity will be 3.29 cubic feet.

Chris, I hate to be the bearer of "news", but Maytag is already marketing their version. The Neptune MAH6700.

The MAH6700 is 2.82 cubic feet while the new Samsung rates more.

Chris, the Maytag site I am looknig at says 3.3 cu. ft. Whether you wanna admit it or not, I'm 99% sure this is essentially the same washer. I"m sure Samsung will be bring to the U.S. all 3 of the Maytag models because Lowes announced they will be selling the Samsung line. And I seriously doubt Whirlpool will keep the sourced Neptunes around long given their own Duet models.

I know that the new Maytags are a re-bagged Sumsung Hauzen.
