Who says you can't get a sudscake with a Norge burpilator? Was washing my cleaning rags with some detergent that Steve (gyrofoam) gave me and this is what I got! I KNOW they'll come cleaner than clean!!! Mark

Holy suds lock, Batman! Interesting that the control dial is on the left. You rarely see that. Thanks for the soapy pics!

Mark, you joggled a memory for me. Somehow, as a 10 y/o kid, I did manage a couple of times having a sudscake in our Norge. Allyou "saw" was a little indentation at the back of the tub where the filter water was cascading down through the filter pan.

What memories of this machine i have. Though they were noisy, they were excellent cleaners. Love the cake.

Mark----

How 'bout that "Viva"? I LOVE it. Wonderful fragrance, and fantastic cleaning ability-----PeterH was right ----again-----this Mexican made (under license from Henkel of Germany) product (with phosphates) is GREAT!

Watch out with those dark loads though! I still use the Fab for them. Otherwise I'm converted!

love that Norge

Norge is my al time favorite washer next to a Westinghouse slant front, frontloader. Had a Montgomery Wards/Norge and it washed better than anyone else's washer in the trailer park that we lived in in Texas. That and the fact we had soft water and were using Oxydol at the time. Dan F.

This Reminded Me

I used to like whipping up a sudscake up and over in the family garbage disposer until the motor safety mechanism kicked in due to overheating...

good times

Fun bubbles!

Terry brought me some Viva detergent last month and we used it several times in a Frigidaire for the bubble-cake effect. It cleans wonderfully and the suds are so much fun!
