With severe chemical sensitivities, I have to launder very carefully: no scented products, no chlorine bleach, everything washed at home because laundromat machines transfer scent, thorough soaking to remove scent that my husband's clothes pick up from public places, and above all RINSING more thoroughly than anyone else needs. I'm considering a Speed Queen AWN 432 top-loader.

Studying discussions here has been VERY helpful, but I'd really like to see a User's Manual too -- and Google can't seem to find one. Can anyone here help?

Did you perhaps mean the AWN 432?

Here is the manual for that model:

One thing I admit that top loaders really have over front loaders is the ability to soak clothing in a bath of water.

I think this is a good choice, you also have the luxury of re-running portions of a cycle again due to the mechanical timer, if you want extra rinses. The extra rinse switch doesn't hurt either. :-)

Good Choice

You'll be very happy with your Speed Queen!
