I don't recall ever seeing a top mount filter dryer in black. Maybe someone knows for sure...

Sleek! No better than that

Would give my right arm for one of those (if in 220 volts version).
Black or charcoal just are THE colors for me, forget about "Avocado" (pea soup) or "Golden Harvest" (corn mash)
Plain white would be second choice for me, above all 70s' odd color schemes.

I have seen something like these in a apartment community. Sears use to sell special models especially for use by property management companies. They usually wanted a certain look at a low price, (mid to late 80's)

a pic for the archives.....

depending on the year, and I would have to check what paperwork and brochures I have from the 80's.....but it was around 1986 that I bought my first LadyK's, and because I could get them in gray(pewter)...it was something different, they were in the kitchen, and by the time I decided to replace everthing else with the LIMITED line up in 1988, there were only three choices, white, black and almond....I went with almond, bought everything at one time, and upgraded the laundry pair to match.....back then colors were 10.00 more per piece, and had to pay extra for the dishwasher because black was the standard......but that was SEARS, I don't think it matters today...

Thanks, Martin for the blow-up At first, in the smaller, link-pic, I thought I was seeing Norge's. Never saw that model Kenmore before in black either. So alluring.

Whirlpolf ~ pea soup and corn mush. Too funny. Thanks for the chuckle.

I think

It is real. The finish looks too good to be a garage paint job. Whirlpool made this cabinet black at the factory.
