Picked this one up this morning.Decent shape, haven't plugged it in yet.Haven't decided if it's going to stay.

Clean inside. The dispenser is nasty, though, looks like it's been years since cleaning.

Congrats on your new KM find! Is this a fast agitating model, or is it a belt drive with dual action? A friend's Mom had a conventional "slow" agitating KM with a dual action agitator.

Eugene, this is a belt-drive design with the longer slower stroke (veg he he he).

off-balance switch

Does this particular belt drive Kenmore washer have an off-balance switch?

I have a KN 80 that is sort of like the machine pictured-mine doesn't have the dispenser.Does yours have the "ratchet wrench" agitator?I love mine.Works nicely. With its ratchet agitator you can tell what cycle its in.Mine has the balance switch.

Thanks, appnut! The configuration of holes in the tub lead me to suspect it was a slow-stroke model.

I don't know what you like or don't but I like this- dispenser and all! And You know they are reliable and fun! - Spiral agitator was a great idea when they introduced it!
