1.  What year is this from?  Very cool machine!

 

2.  All those rinses are nice, but the way it just sits there with that non-agitated over flow rinse for 1 or 2 minutes(?), water flowing in and right down the drain... would REALLY bother me (such a waste of water - especially since todays detergents rinse much better than they did 50-60 years ago).

 

Interesting how they claim:

1. "Soap or detergent goes to work instantly, even before the agitation starts..." with the "air-soft" aerated water.

Yeah it's just like that bathroom cleaner with those scrubbing bubbles.....

(I guess the older Speed Queens could make the same claim as it fills with aerated water too)

 

2. "the extra large double four-vane agitator works so gentally, it actually prolongs the life of your clothes".  

Wow... NO manufacturer would be able to get away claiming that today, with our "sue happy society"!
