I have a Hobart FFW with the two piece plastic/metal strainer. I believe someone on here mentioned that you could replace that with a one piece metal unit off of a kitchen aid dishwasher.

Is this the case? Any part numbers, model numbers, links for suppliers would be great.

A quick ebay search shows some K/A strainers, but they do not appear as though they will fit??

Thanks!

not the usual can do project!

If you have one of the really old machines with a 4 way hydrosweep you can probably get away with it, but not if you have the single arm design. There are some different styles of strainers that went in those machines but if you provide some pics of the inside of it, I can advise you better. And probably provide you the aprts you need too from the "attic."
