Hello all. I just recently purchased a KDS-21 and the motor needs new bearings. I have the pump disassembled to the grinder/drain impeller. I guess the grinder/drain impeller are one unit, correct? Anyway, first, how do you remove the grinding unit from the shaft. Second, are there shaft seals still available? The cooling fan appears to be fine. The dishwasher had been in a minor basement flood, and the bearings are toast. Motor windings are fine, even used the megaohmmeter on them. Drying unit, air heater, water heater, float switch, and fill valve are all working and are electrically within spec.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
