O.K., I'll say it: Jon Charles, you are the David Lynch of washer films!

Aside: What was that first blender?

Wow,

Thank you Jeff.   That  first blender is a late model Ronson with solid state controls and a timer.

The only thing better would be being there in person to witness all that action!

Thanks for the closeup of the Bendix controls. "Engage Magic Heater!" "Magic Heater engaged, sir!"

The Easy gets more impressive with every viewing. Is is a quirk of the video or is it really almost silent when spinning?

Great video Jon

Lots of great appliances in action.  If I had to choose I'd take the SS SQ commercial washer as my favorite though.  Just love the SS cabinet and Laundromat proven quality of design.

Jetcone, I loved the video and thank YOU for the time to make, edit and post it. You Sir have a gift. I have ADD, it is no secret around AW.org..... You had my attention the whole time. I love WCI (wash cam insanity).  I had no idea the GE Filter Flo machines gushed water up through the hinges..  Thanks again.  Arthur

Saturday Appliance Fun

WOW fun video Jon, it was relaxing to watch while enjoying my morning cup of tea.

Too many cool choices but I give the best wash action award to the GE combo, the amount of water and clothing movement in these is amazing.

Best lint removable would also belong to the GE Combo and the Bendix Duomatics

Best lint filtering would go to the harvest gold GE FF, not for the little bit that got in the lint filter but for the cool way it turns the whole wash load into a giant lint filter as it tries to spin out the water and forces the dirty water back through your clean clothes several times.

You should have been making frozen drinks in those blenders to temper the effects of all that caffeine, LOL.

Well glad you all liked it

Brent : I was actually washing 2 pair of pigment dyed sweats blue, 3 pieces pigment dyed Red shirts, I wanted all the dye OUT so GE was the first choice, water water everywhere and not a drop to drink!! Hot water, detergent and just a hint of bleach loaded into the dispenser.

Rich: SO when are you and Gary coming OUT???

Yes Eddie I got a little distracted and when I looked at my watch realized you were deep into making delicate egg sauces!! You are right on the blades in the Ronson, that was shot when it first arrived on my doorstep, I corrected the blades later.

Glad it held your attention Arthur.

Supersuds- Yes the EASY is that quiet in spin all you hear is water or wind. The bearings are in amazing shape for the age of this machine.

Exactly John, the GE is right up there beside the Kenmore-WP's for straining/retaining lint through the clothes. When you think of it you paid for that lint as fabric you shouldn't just let it go down the DRAIN!!!!

Hohum its Monday again..

Quite an existentialistic movie! The second blender sounds like it could fly! And then all these washers doing their own thing.

Thanks for sharing this!

Don't know what I liked the most ~

mickeyd's profile picture
The Aliens, aka "Little Grays" coming out in the wash, or the reference to Colerige, "Water, water everywhere...." or the luxurious rinse drama in the GE combo.
God, how I hope Paul restores and sells his! (smiles)

When the camera was spinning that old song started up in my head. I'm sure you know it, and will try to link it later. It's a good one.

"You're makin' me dizzy

My head is spinning

Like a Whirlpool

It's never-ending."

Wonder if he was a washer dude.

Thank you for a nice long movie, Jon, and I'm so sorry MS thinks all you clothes are get wrecked in the GE's just as his are in his WP's. What a riot. Grinningggguuue all day long.

Besides the washers, I like that Waring blender too with it's timer. Like it has a mind of it's own! ;-)
