The timer unit (below) pictured in the KDA-5 service manual has the number PL5990 on it . . . would that be the part number or just an image number? |

After reading the service manual, I see that that is not the part number :(. No part numbers are given. |

Would you have a picture of it or a part number? I don't have a parts manual for that machine but may be able to supply the part or see if it is still available. Steve |

Thanks for responding! The dishwasher is at a repair shop . . . will try to get the part number tomorrow or Tuesday and get back to you. |

Hi Susan it sounds like you are in good hands now, by far the biggest problem with this DW was broken wires going through the lid hinges. I bypassed the complete circuit through the lid switch years ago on my KA TL portable DW, which solves the problem of broken wires forever as long as you remember to unplug the DW if it is running and you want to open the lid, otherwise if you do open the lid while the DW is running you will not believe how fast you will get WET and when you are done drying every surface in your kitchen you will have a really clean kitchen including the ceiling, LOL. |
