You could start by looking at Craigslist listings for various large cities across the U.S. There is also a slight chance that you may find one near you too. Finding one of these washers takes detective work! Good Luck! |

it took me from 2008 thru 2011 but i now own 7 of these machines (counting the 70's 1-18 version) in various states of rebuild. 4 are done, one in the process, 2 untouched as yet.
if i ever decide to let one go i will contact you thru this site. as yet i am not ready to part with any but that could change in the future. i will say that i found 6 of mine thru wonderful people on this site, the last, a coppertone set i located on craigslist in tenn. 3 of them were offered to me for free although i did pay for them as i didn't feel right taking them for nothing. they are tempermental machines and i don't use any of them for a daily machine, i simply run one or two about once a month or so for fun. but i don't want to put wear and tear on any of them since parts are so hard to find (and expensive when you do). keep lookin, you will find one!!! |

I really appreciate all of your help and advice. Just wondering, why are they tempermental machines? |
