This is a unit I picked up last year thinking that my 1956 model was shot (fortunately it was not). It's in good overall condition - some nicks and scratches to the paint and there are some cracks in the interior shelves. I believe that the compressor unit has been modified - the condenser coil looks more recent than the rest of the refrigeration system. The cold control has been replaced and when I first got this fridge, it was not cycling correctly. With help from John, I was able to tweak the control and relocate the temperature sensor and this has resolved the problem.
I paid a pretty steep price for this, but I am open to reasonable offers. Please email me or send a private message if you would like any further information. Here's the real kicker - it's in Ogden and you'll need 3 or 4 friends to help move this beastie... |
