Each of these washers are for sale on the Atlanta CL, with their matching dryer, for a range of prices.  Two questions to those of you "in the know":

They are all basically the same washer, correct?  Just different bells and whistles?

Do they have any value?  Are these not the ones that are constantly bashed by this group?  Undependable?

First washer -

yeah, their all basically the NorgeTags....and although they are problem prone...don't let that discourage you if its a machine you like and are considering....

a lot of guys like these, and not all are problem machines, I like the Atlantis version...and someday I will have one, problems and all....no matter how much you talk me out of it!...

the Calypso's got a bad rap too....doesn't stop me from having two...or ten Neptunes....

buy what makes you happy, as long as you know what your getting into, thats half the battle....

you may have to do some repairs, but you know it will be done right!

Martin,

I've always liked the blue pair.  I mean, how many blue washers and dryers have there been???  I only recall them being sold at HD and probably not for very long.  It's nice to see a pair of survivors (odd term to be using with basically 'new' appliances).  They may have problems and might be less than perfect, but seems like they should be in someone's collection just for posterity's sake.
