Decided on a temp fix for the neptune by getting this...it squeaks on agitation...did the test for the agitator dogs and it seems ok...any ideas?

Jerry.....try holding the tub assembly still while its agitating and see if the noise stops.....these usually get a sqweek from the snubbers underneath, with that constant back and forth motion, it just wears a mark....

nothing really wrong with it.....just annoying.....and you can't grease it!...

actually I have put a drop of oil on these, but will cause the whole assembly to agitate....but stops with the addition of a foam wrap around the outter tub, helps keep it still, and reduces noise drastically...just a thought!

Thanks for the tip!...having it squeak is better than no washer at all!..BTW I tried a new motor and board in the Neptune and it still does not spin...anyone need a 350lb doorstop?

yeah....that one is puzzling....maybe JohnL has some more ideas or things to check.....for the most part these are not complicated machines....

I keep thinking it may be along the lines of a door lock/switch error that won't allow it to spin.....

That KA is a wonderful washer. I still love mine, but I use the matching dryer more.
