Hi Gary.

The series is called 'The Long Firm' and I searched it out on Youtube.
For those who want to have a gander at a load of vintage electrical appliances its episode 1 and the appliance shop starts around 19minutes in.

Oh yep - next to the 3224 Keymatic is a Parnall Spinwasher!

Paul

err I get worse as I age
thanks very much Paul for sorting that out.
Nice collection of washers and spinners there, the set designer must have known his stuff, coz the some of those leccy cookers in the back ground look a bit 70s to me.

But such a nice image thanks

Hi Mike,

It is really weird this subject / thread has cropped up..I first got my MK2 Spinwasher in 2002 and I remember possibly a year 18mths later I lent the machine to a prop hire company, and they had it for about 2mths..never knew what they were using it for, but got paid well for it, also the same time lent a Servis Superheat to the producers of the Paul O'Grady show as they were doing a 50's theme..i saw the machine on that show, but never did know where or what the Spinwasher appeared in..if anything...It could be my machine !!!
