Chris,

If you can't locate a spare its quite possible your nut is repairable. Most any machine shop could install a stainless Heli-coil or Timesert insert to restore the threads. The repair would be better then the original.

If you have trouble locating a local shop I'd install an insert for the cost of postage.

everything of mine is in storage as I'm getting ready to move south.  IIRC, this part is a 6 digit number beginning with 6.  I can try to see if I can find one for you.  How soon do you need it?

Chris, good deal, glad you got it working again! Heli-Coils are pretty spiffy, we install a lot of them in brand new parts. Properly installed your inserted part will be more durable then it was originally.

As with all threads be sure to use some form of lubricant on it. Especially if you have stainless on stainless which can cause trouble.
