Laundress, It's had to see, but there is a griddle in the middle. Those are strange burners to cook on with the heavy steel plates of varying dimensions between the flame and the pans.

I'd be very intrigued if someone took this "all-in-one" idea and updated it.

That setup in electric with two self-cleaning ovens would be close to cooking Nirvana!

Actually, Western Holly did make a 1947 model with the two burners in the middle...AW.ORG post:

For a good laugh: the Western Holly looks like to me(and this will sound absurd)...a stove cooktop with a pair of Bendix washer/dryers below. I watched too many cartoons as a kid. :-)
