I had a G.E. Hydro-wave given to me and well I hate the agitator in it if I change it out with another type will it kill the motor in it,

sense G.E. 86 the gearing and put a motor with some controls on it and that is about it.I hate those Dual Action type always have

I do love the ramp agitators that I had in my old Hotpoint washer .

should be ok

the motor electronics should protect the motor from overcurrent while using a larger agitator.Do you have the larger tub hydrowave with SS tub? I have the version with the smaller plastic tub with internal fluting.Though not a favorite machine,it does seem to wash ok and never has a balance problem.
