Hi all, I have tried to sell my early 70's Norge by Fedders machine on ebay twice now, $50.-- the first time and $25.00 the second with no bids, so if anyone wants it, come and get it. Otherwise it goes to the crusher on 2/18/06. So whomever comes the soonest/earliest gets it. .... thanks

Hot damn.
And the guts are just like my momma's old machine.
Wish I could help ya out.
But I am streamlining at the moment.
Other than two huge loud *CLUNKS* of the tub break releasing, I loved that machine.

I'd love to have it, but there's no way I can come get it.

what about having Habitat for Humanity come pick up?

or Goodwill?? Surely someone locally could use a decent working (not to mention beautiful!) Automatic Washer. They might be able to sell it. Distance (and funds!) don't allow me to 'help' you either :-(. My apologies if you have already explored such options...

Hi Greg, DADoES, Jetcone and All,
I will be glad to get the old Norge if no one else wants it. I would hate to think of it in a crusher or dump. Greg, I realize you need it out by a certain time. If anyone wants it (DADoES?) but can only pick it up at a later time, I would be glad to pick it up from Greg and store it until that person can make the trip up here. That old Norge needs a loving home!

Greg, nice Fedders Norge! I would take it in a heartbeat, but space and financial constraints don't allow...

Bobby, I hope you get it; would hate to see this one go to the Krusher.

Are you sure you want to get rid of a Fedders/Norge machine like that. These Machines were supper tough and built like a tank,(well almost). I would take it in a New York minute but I live so far away. I love these washers as they had a 3/4 hp. motor a comerically proven transmission systen. 20lb capacity which it will actually hold that much. The 202 degree turbo sweep agitator with the burpalator lint filter systen. If it was me I would get rid of something else and keep the Norge.

Other than a lack of seperate speed control, this was just like my mothers old Fedders Norge. I would love to have it, but as always...lack of space. Good, tough, no non-sense washers.
