I was wondering if It would ever be possible to put a standard size blue Maytag Powerfin agitator In a Maytag wringer washer?

You can, kind of.  The depths of the spline alignment are different between the two agitator styles.  I forget which one is deeper for certain but I think it's the wringer.  Its spline is set about 1/2-3/4" deeper in the agitator.  If you put a Powerfin in a wringer it sits up above the bottom of the tub and all manner of things can "disappear" under it.
