I have a three year old whirlppol cabrio washer. I want to watch it wash. But it will not operate with the stupid lid open. How can I watch it with the lid open?

We never figured it out in the five days our Cabrio lasted in our house, before it was sent back to meet its maker. :) Apparently it has to do with placement of a magnet under or near the lid latch. We tried and nothing worked.

Depends on which model you have......plenty of videos on YouTube showing ways around the lid switch.....I have a glass window, and still use it with the lid open....it can be done!....if you want to follow and go the routes these guys are taking...
