I saw this Inglis washer once in a house in my area on a video tape. This was before I was born. My parents and my two older sisters lived in Wisconsin, then they moved here. My dad was in the area by him self and the rest of the family was still home in Wisonsin. He was looking at houses in Brighton MI, were I am. And he video taped this one house that had with really old Inglis washer. We didnt buy the house that had that washer in it, they bought a different one. Anyways, I dont know what the inside of the Inglis washer looked like? Is it by Whirlpool or Speed queen, what does the interior of this Inglis look like.....

Hmmm, I think I just rescued the guts of a similar style machine from a curbside in Montreal recently! It would probably had a grey tub with a white 'surgilator' style agitator - literally just like a Whirlpool.

I notice that the one shown has the Kenmore style cabinet, with side-opening lid.

Except for the control panel, it looks exactly like a Kenmore BD washer.

Does your aunt's open to the back, even though the place to lift the lid is at the right?
