How hard is it to add a water pump to a KD-10 to bypass the gravity drain?

Thanks

Joe

Actually, looking at the design and parts list it looks like it would be easier on the KD-10 than on the later models.  If you could remove the valve and the manage to either thread or clamp a fitting of some sort to the bottom of the drain under the strainer cone you could then attach some sort of small electric pump that would operate on the same circuit as the drain solenoid.  Trying to find an original pump that your could retrofit would be fun but I think the chances of that would be slim.  Maybe someone else has a better idea? The other issue that you MAY have to contend with with this sort of setup is the possibility of overflow.
