Hi all! It's been a while since I've posted
I'm having a bit of trouble with my washer dryer,I had it looked at a few months ago and I thought the problem had been solved,so I just wanted to describe what happened

I noticed that during both washing and drying cycles that a sort of loud clunking type of noise was occurring,it concerned me enough to get up and investigate, the machine was kind of switching itself on and off and the door locked light was going out and coming back on! So I switched it off at the wall and called the landlord!

They sent a repair guy and he told my partner that water from the inlet pipe had leaked onto the plug socket and slowly rotted the socket,he replaced the socket and covered it up just to prevent anymore drips with a carrier bag! All this was done while I was at work!

Now it appears that the same symptoms are occurring but the plug and socket were dry when i checked,so I wanted to ask anyone on here if they had any idea what the problem might be? I'm waiting for the landlord to send a maintenance man again,as don't like the thought of using it

Thanks Neil

Probably the PCB went oft. If the chunking noise is still there, let the tech take out the heater and See if something has become stuck in the outer drum...
