I was trolling the internet and someone near where i live is having a house demolition. To cut the story short the person has a Kitchen Aid Dishwasher, when i emailed them they said the model number is KDS -17E
and when i asked the model number i also asked if it had a top spray arm and they said it did!
Two questions:
What year is the machine from?
Does this particular model have and under basket spinner for the top basket? - i thought they only came with the KDS-18 + series??
What may be a wash arm to some is perhaps the small constant rinse sprayer on the top of the tank.
As far as I know, the 18 was the first to have the dual wash arms. I would love to see this machine and see how it compares to what we had here. These were the European equivalents of our domestic Kitchenaids and came with many more features like water softeners and probably a stainless steel tank as standard issue.
Even the venerable commercial UM's came with things like built in rinse boosters in their Euro guise which we never had here at all.
