Today I picked up a Hoover Softwave 1100 A8754 Washer Dryer, it works but is in need of bearings which are quite hard to find never mind expensive. The styling is rather ugly and looks out of place on a machine from the Wave series, it's more Candy looking than Hoover (a sign of change to come).

I'm left with a dilemma now about what to do with it, you may know that I have a Hoover Logic A8572 Washer Dryer which is a nice enough model but needs brushes, a dryer timer and dryer element. I could use those parts from the Softwave to turn that into a fully working machine again or I could just change the bearings in the Softwave and keep it because it's programming is much better than the Logic.

Help me decide guys?

Thank you, James.

A8572

Me personally, I'd rescue the A8572, as it's the Electron style Logic.

Btw, I can recommend bearings that'll fit the A8572...
