Hobart LXe-Advansys.  Talk about some amazing technology!  I'm very intrigued by the energy recovery system.  This would fit in most kitchens but would need a 240/60/1 or 3 circuit. I've found the MSRP to be around 5500-6000 USD.

Winterhalter has got something like this as well. The guy explains it at the end of the video.

Here's an animated video of the system in close-up.

And, of course, a certain domestic dishwasher manufaturer has been using a similar system for over a decade.

Alex. Would that dishwasher manufacture be Bosh?
To bad they don't sell a unit like this in the USA at least not that I know of.

Are these machines marketed to home consumers? Somehow I get the feeling they are directed to commercial use because the guy in the video kept talking about the correct chemical for crystal. Of Course if you have the resources I guess you can buy one for your house, but the racks don't look suitable for that.

Possibly ;-) And yes, Winterhalter dishwashers are commercial units.

I quite enjoy that burst of steam when I open my dishwasher at the end of a cycle. Nice blast of steam in the face...
