" Vintage Range/Oven/Stove manufactured by Viking

The oven and stove are in perfect working condition.

They certainly don't make things like they used to.

Excellent condition and working order.

Beautiful piece of history. The unit indicates that it was manufactured specially for Eaton's. "

Boy, those surface units, trim rings and pans are T-I-R-E-D. It has a continuous clean oven which was never attractive, even fresh out of the carton. That rosey hue of the oven liner is not due to health; it is rusting. That shot of the storage drawer shows those diagonal corner braces that diminish the usable height of the drawer. They are not a mark of excellent construction. If this stove were donated, it would probably go to scrap unless someone needed the control panel. Those poor people think they have something.

I saw a Flair on eBay that someone was selling in "as is" condition for $800.00.

I don't know if it is ignorance or desperate poverty setting these prices.

The huge space-wasting braces are probably used because it's made of too thin material to old on it's sides alone or to discourage any owner to put anything tall or heavy in a storage drawer that wouldn't hold it (or both!).

It looks like our locally-produced Hupp appliances. Hupp Canada is the company that also produced the ROY appliances that Paul hates so much! Their factory in L'Assomption QC was bought by Electrolux many years ago and it closed recently.

These Eaton's Viking ranges have nothing in common with the US Viking ranges!
